This Transpac 49 is powered by a Ford Lehman 2715E 120hp diesel engine with direct drive and 3 blade propeller. She has 1559 engine hours.

There is also a Westerbeke 7.7kw diesel generator with sound shield and dry exhaust system for quieter operation, this generator was rebuilt in 2013 and has 2400 recorded hours.

This Transpac 49 benefits from a walk-in engine room and workshop accessible from the owner’s cabin, offering access to engine, generator, air-conditioning control panel, and water heater. There is also a work bench with a vice.

‘Summerly’ is a cutter ketch rigged with Harken roller furling headsail gear.

Her standing rigging is fitted with Staylock (or Norseman) terminals and the running rigging is lead back to rope clutches in the cockpit, there is also a stackpack for the mizzen mast.

Sails on board this Transpac 49 include: Asymmetrical spinnaker, 155% North Sails genoa (2015), staysail, mainsail, lazy jack (2016).

This Transpac 49 Mark II provides plentiful accommodation within 3 staterooms.

The spacious owner?s stateroom features a large double berth, lots of storage with shelving, hanging locker, 4 large drawers and two lockers. With 3 transom portlights, 3 portlights on each quarter and a deck hatch this owner’s cabin benefits from plenty of natural light. There is also an ensuite bathroom with electric toilet, two mirrors and a separate shower.

The forward guest cabin of this Transpac 49 features two single berths, large deck hatch and two portlights, two cabin fans, cushioned seat, and vanity top with mirror.

A further side guest cabin features two berths in bunks, hanging locker, storage lockers, full length mirror, private sink and two cabin fans.

The guest bathroom is found opposite and includes a Rarison head, counter top with sink, large mirror, storage lockers, shower and cabin fan.

The large main saloon of this Transpac 49 features U-shaped settee to port with a dining table that maybe lowered to convert this to a full double berth. Opposite, to starboard, is

a single settee which can convert into a further single berth. Three forward facing portlights, deck hatch and two larger portlights allow the saloon to benefit from a great deal of natural light. Plentiful storage is provided with a large bookcase, drawers and lockers; there are also two cabin fans.

The vessel is cooled (and heated) with three reverse-cycle air conditioning
units with a total of approximately 38,000 BTU?s.

The galley is well equipped with double sinks, plentiful storage in three lower lockers, two upper lockers, open-front plate storage locker, and 5 drawers. There is also a cabinet opposite the galley to starboard with a refrigerator, bar and glass fronted drinks cabinet. There is also a freezer compartment below the starboard settee.

The layout of this Transpac 49 features a stand-up outboard facing navigation table with a swivel Captain?s chair that tucks under the nav table, this is located at the forward end of the passageway to the aft cabin.

The present owners purchased the vessel in 2013 and completed a major refit. They have continued to upgrade the vessel over the years. Major upgrades are listed below and show a history of continuing maintenance and improvement to the vessel.
