Nicolle Associates and Berthon International sell the 90ft Reichel Pugh/McConaghy sailing yacht ‘Rambler 90’

Adrian Nicolle at Nicolle Associates represented the buyer in the sale of the 90ft Reichel Pugh/McConaghy sailing yacht ‘Rambler 90’ based in Newport, Rhode Island, with Ben Cooper at Berthon International acting for the seller.

“Rambler” (formerly “Alfa Romeo”) sports a towering 44 metre carbon fibre mast built by Southern Spars in New Zealand with the latest concept in 3DL and mylar sails designed by the Sydney loft of North Sails. She is well known and with a stack of records, including the current (2012) course record of the Newport – Bermuda Race, is still one of the best inshore IRC Maxi Yachts every built.

Launched in 2002, “Rambler” was built by McConaghy Boats, Sydney of prepreg carbon/core construction.
