S/Y Amneris is an excellent example of the Palmer Johnson 75ft Ketch. Designed by Alden and built by Palmer Johnson in 1979, and refitted in 2008, this aluminium cutter ketch features a lifting centerboard offering comfortable cruising in any location.

This Palmer Johnson 75 is powered by a Caterpillar 3016 diesel engine with a Hundestat variable pitch propeller.
The centreboard of this 75ft ketch lifts from 13′ to 6′ 5″ to allow access to shallower areas without compromising on sailing ability.
There are also 2x Northern lights generators – 1x 20kw, 1x 12kw; a Naiad marine 12HT bow thruster; Sea Recovery Aqua Whisper watermaker (1500gal/day); and Air Marine air conditioning with 5 compressors and 6 zones.
This cutter rigged Palmer Johnson 75 Ketch is equipped with a yankee jib, hank-on stay sail, main sail, mizzen, spinnaker, mizzen stay sail and 2x storm sails.

There are twin 120lb CQR anchors with 2x 300′ galvanised chain on bow rollers, and an Ideal Single Phase 220v windlass with double gypsies. There also is an additional storm anchor.
