1981 Formosa 51 for sale in Italy

This Formosa 51 was designed by the famous Canadian-American Engineer William Gardner, little more than 100 boats of this Formosa Ketch model were ever built.

This Formosa Ketch was sailed to Germany from Taiwan in 1981 where her first owner took delivery of her. She has cruised extensively in the North Sea and the Mediterranean spending most of her time in France, Spain and Greece, she is now based on the Adriatic Sea, at Monfalcone, Italy.

This Formosa 51 has been used for private cruising and guided commercial sailing tours, and has even starred in films and videos.

This Formosa 51 underwent an overhaul in 2014/15 including new rigging, new electrics, new coppercoat antifouling, new teak decks and much more.
