1982 Oyster 41 – Viewing is highly recommended
This Oyster 41 built in 1982 is from the drawing board of Stephen Jones and has proved to be very suitable cruising/racing boat over the years.
‘Oyster Lady’ has demonstrated what a great yacht design the Oyster 41 is by crossing the Atlantic on two occasions. She was laid up ashore in Spain for 9 years when her current owner (second owner) re commissioned her. Work taken place during the re commissioning included: dropping the rudder, cleaning the rudder bearings, servicing sea-cocks, checking keel bolts, sand blasting the keel and painting with two part epoxy.
Pumps & winches all serviced, new stanchion bases, new batteries (3x130ah), new mast head fitting for wind speed/direction indicator, new calorifier.
She will sleep seven in two double cabins, one single quarter berth and two singles in the saloon. Two head compartments, one forward and aft.
With a little bit more work this boat will be in great condition, perfect opportunity to join the hallowed halls of Oyster ownership at a fraction of the cost.
