This Moody 47 spent 1987-1997 ashore in dry storage, followed by 10 years on a fresh water lake, so it has not seen the usage or wear and tear you would expect from a 30+ year old boat.
The Moody 47 is a great example of yet another successful design to come from the drawing board of Bill Dixon. With a full beam master cabin aft and a spacious saloon this centre cockpit cruiser is well thought out and comfortable for longer distance cruising.
The current owners have recently replaced the navigation equipment to a modern Garmin system, added a Kubota generator, new ICOM SSB, Maxwell windlass along with a new stove and water heater.
