1988 Custom Steel 52ft Cutter Rigged Yacht for sale in Caribbean
A ready to go 52-foot centre cockpit cutter rigged steel boat, fully equipped for long-distance and blue water sailing.
After about two and a half years at sea this yacht now on our way back to Sweden via the Caribbean and a possible delivery in the Caribbean (Feb-Apr 2018).
The steel yacht is built in Elsinore/Helsingör, Denmark, in accordance with drawings by the Danish yacht designer, Arne Borghegen, and was completed in the mid 90’s.
The boat is exceptionally well built and well maintained. Mast, deck and underwater hull were painted in New Zealand in spring 2017.
In 2015 the underwater body was professionally sandblasted and painted with Hempel’s two pot epoxy paint. At the same time the entire hull and deck was painted according to Hempel’s paint system. The steel hull was ultra sound measured in 2007 with no remarks.
Serious clients may be offered the opportunity to test sail the yacht in the Caribbean Feb-April 2018.

She carries 900 litres of diesel, 1200 litres of water and together with the water maker ensuring self sufficiency in remote locations for considerable lengths of time.
