This Feltz Skorpion IIA is slim and shapely and she is perfectly designed for long journeys with easy to sailing on each course, and can be sailed efficienty even when short handed. Through its high free-board and the central cockpit, FantaSea sails dry and ensures the crew’s comfort and safety at all times.
This 1991 Feltz Skorpion IIA is powered by a Mercedes Benz OM636 42hp diesel engine, with 3100 operating hours.
The rig setup of this Feltz Skorpion IIA features: anodized mast and aluninium mast step; stainless steel spreaders. 3 winches, 2xEnkes 20 1x Enkes 18 winches. 4 aluminium cleats, 2PVC cleats and 2 crimps; 4.5 profile anodized boom; 10mm forestay and 8mm second forestay; 8mm and 7mm sidestays; 2x 8mm backstays, one with Norseman insulators; Hasslefors stay tensioners; and spinnaker pole sled lift system.
The sails included with this Skorpion IIA include: main 28 m2, Genoa 43 m2, 2x Downwind sails approximately 35m2, and storm sail.
Berths for four are provided within this Feltz Skorpion, in an aft master cabin with double berth and V-berth at the fore-peak. A bathroom is also located forward.
This Skorpion IIA provides a spacious saloon with 2 bench sofas, which can double up as additional berths if required. A folding table in the centre converts the space into a large dining area with ample seating for 6.
The well-equipped galley is found to starboard and features large double sink; fridge; ENO Gascoigne 2 ring hob and oven, which is mounted on a gimbal for ease-of-use at sea; plentiful storage; pressurised water system; manual seawater pump; and stainless steel cool box with engine powered compressor cooling plate.
Opposite the galley, this Feltz Skorpion benefits from a navigation station with large chart table and Phillippi Bootselekrik control board with circuit breaker for control of navigation instruments and electronics.
