This Oyster 48 Lightwave is powered by a 2007 Volvo Penta D2 55hp diesel engine with around 2600 engine hours, last serviced in December 2016.
The engine is cooled with fresh and saltwater via a heat-exchanger and her MS25L gearbox features reverse gear with flexible prop shaft coupling. This Oyster Lightwave has a shaft drive setup a with a feathering 3-blade Max prop with rope cutter.
This sloop rigged Oyster 48 Lightwave features an aluminium mast with steps to first spreaders. She also has a furling mainsail system, Hood Seafurl genoa furling system, running backstays, and a good wardrobe of sails included.
