1992 Humphreys 36 Cruiser Racer
Another fabulous yacht design by Rob Humphrey, this Cedar planked sheathed with west systems epoxy is a fast cruiser/racer. Built in 1991 by Tony Farrow and John Chambers, her interior was fitted out by her owner who then went on to race and cruise her for the past 20 years, completing in RORC, JOG and one Fastnet race.
‘Zest’ has a very tidy interior which will sleep eight in four pipecot bunks and four sette berths. Her laminated mahogany frames and floors gives you the feel of a classic yacht, but using modern materials such as epoxy.
Powered by a single Perkins 103.10 with sail drive and two bladed folding propeller. Zest has been well maintained for the past 20 years and benefits from a recent refit which included: new teak deck and rigging refurbishment in 2011.
Very well presented 36ft yacht, which is ready for two handed cruising or to complete in some more offshore racing.
