Alaya I is a lovely example of the stunning Ferretti 62, she is a special anniversary edition supervised by the Bureau Veritas and is built upon fiber glass and Kevlar for extra strength. In 2010 this Ferretti 62 was remodeled by the Juan Galvez shipyard in Fort Lauderdale and she is currently being overhauled and the following work is being completed:
One engine is being completely repaired and will have a one year warranty provided; The second engine had the turbo replaced and is being fully serviced; The bilge pumps and the water pumps have all been replaced; she has all new batteries; and the dinghy is being serviced.
As of January 04, 2017 the boat is in dry dock, the hull was just cleaned and painted again with anti-fouling paint.
This Ferretti 62 is powered by twin MTU 12V183 TE 93 1050hp diesel engines. She has a cruising speed 31mph and a maximum speed of 40mph.
Alaya I can accommodate up to 8 guests within its uniquely spacious 4 cabin and 4 bathroom layout. It also features further crew quarters, with the option of one or two crew cabins accessible directly from the galley or cockpit.

The saloon features large U-shaped sofa with coffee table and opposite, two rounded sofa style seats. There is also a dinette area, with wrap around seating and extendable dining table, next to the helm position on the lower bridge.
The self-contained galley features an oven and electric hob, fridge, freezer and sink.
