This Dragonfly 28 sport is a folding trimaran, a high-performance trailer-sailer, which folds to within the EU trailer width limit on the road, takes a single berth in a marina but unfolds to give a wide, stable, 20+ knot platform for cruising or racing. She can be rigged single-handed in under 30 minutes, allowing a very quick transition from trailing to sailing.
Her shallow draft of 1’ 4” (0.4m) will get you into some beautiful beaches and her sailing beam of 21’ 3” (6.5m) will get you to high speeds with little heeling. She has a carbon rig that efficiently converts gusts to forward motion and caries a 45sqM code zero to keep you running quickly down-wind too.
With the unique Quorning Swing Wing system she can be folded within two minutes using the winches and no tools to sit in a single marina berth as the system allows the beams and outriggers to be recessed beneath the main hull when folded for marina or trailer.
The powerful, high-volume outriggers extend forward of the centre hull for maximum diagonal stability when reaching, and their unique asymmetric form generates lift to windward for exceptional upwind performance.
The boat offers five full sized comfortable 2m berths, a nice main cabin with excellent views out, a full width heads and a very large cockpit for the whole family.
