Cruising World magazine winner of the 2010 Boat of The Year Award for the Best Premium Cruiser over 50ft.

She is equipped with an extraordinary inventory of manufacturer supplied upgrades and benefits from an upgrade to teak interior joinery, Hall Spars mast and boom with in mast furling, upgraded generator, hydraulic furling forestay / inner forestay and many navigation, electrical and domestic system improvements from the standard model.

In addition to the many Oyster upgrades to this 655, she benefits from some fabulous custom improvements that have been designed and constructed by specialist craftsmen. She has additional bench seating in absolute matching joinery style to her saloon extending the seating to a workable number of guests, she has protective covers for her floor, soft furnishings and many areas of deck equipment and a superbly improved custom stainless steel bimini matrix frame with improved canvas work and windows.

With the 655, performance was an established criterion from the outset. Designer, Rob Humphreys, created a set of hull lines with a relatively fine entry forward and a clean run aft. Add a low centre of gravity keel, a modern high aspect rudder and powerful sail plan and the result is a fast yacht that is a pleasure to sail.

The twin helm configuration puts the helmsman in exactly the right place and means that the spacious forward cockpit is safe and uncluttered. It is also much easier to get on and off the working deck since there is virtually flat deck access from the stern into the cockpit.

The Oyster 655 saloon makes best use of the yacht’s 18′ 5″ (5.62m) beam and, with the U-shaped galley to port, creates a spacious and contemporary open-plan living environment, with plenty of counter surfaces and stowage space.

The 655 has a spacious owner’s suite aft, with its own private access to deck, and three guest cabins.
