This Cobra Nautique RIB has been well looked after by its current owners who used it privately and commercially, running a luxury RIB trips and experiences on the south coast of England. She comes packed with additional features and is also available to be bought fully coded for cat 4 commercial use if desired (contact for more details).
This Cobra Nautique RIB is powered by twin 2010 Yamaha 300hp outboard engines. The engines have circa 295 hours and have been fully maintained with Cobra since new.
Engines last serviced in November 2016.
The RIB gives the best of both worlds and will cruise very happily at any speed from 22 to 40 kts and gives a very good fuel economy at around 25kts. For those that prefer speed, it will happily go to 50+kts.
The engines have been very well looked after since new and they look and perform like new. Being twin outboards you have the added bonus of manoeuvrability, moving the RIB in a 360 degree circle without moving from the spot is easy even when against a bit of tide or wind.
She has a deep v hull which provides excellent stability and handling. The hull was copper coated when new by Cobra at the request of its current owners. The copper coating is guaranteed for 10 years and means that the boat can be left in the water for long periods of time without the need for antifouling.
The helm of this Cobra Nautique 9.0 RIB is well equipped with mostly new navigation and electronics, including: Garmin VHF Fixed radio; Garmin 7210 touchscreen chart plotter; Two GPS antennas, one fitted to the roof of the head compartment and one fitted to the rear A frame; Garmin AIS 300 class B transponder; Quad Yamaha engine displays and dual fly by wire throttles; carbon fibre steering wheel; push button engine stop/start controls; and new waterproof carling rocker dashboard switches with backlighting and laser etched covers.
The deck of this Cobra Nautique 9.0m RIB is fitted with Flexi Teak throughout, including boot space and below deck areas.
To the aft a large 3 person bench with moulded seats also provides plentiful storage in lockers beneath, including 20l fresh water tank.
The helm seat also provides storage below and is easily accessible, there are also 6 cup holders attached to the rear of the seat.
A ‘suicide seat’ is moulded into the front of the helm console on this Cobra Nautique allowing a daring view of the action upfront.
At the bow a wrap around bench provides additional seating and further storage below, a removable table converts the bow into a comfortable picnic area. An infill cushion also allows the option of transforming the bow seating into a large sunpad.
The RIB also comes with a full protective, water proof cover and a brand new bimini that can go up to give rain and sun protection when out on the water.
Cobra Nautique RIB provides an array of equipment such as: Fusion stereo with Bluetooth, iPhone cable, USB cable and FM radio; 8 waterproof deck speakers; new electric windlass controls; new high water bilge alarm; new gas sensor for below deck; VHF aerial; navigation lights; anchor light; and radar deflector.
The front seat of this Cobra RIB lifts up on hydraulic struts to allow you to go below deck. Beneath is a convenient electric flush toilet that goes to a holding tank, a sink and fresh water supply. This can also be used as an additional storage area with plenty of space and is well ventilated with two side windows.
There is also access to the rear of the electronics fitted to the helm station via an access hatch (that is hidden by a mirror for day to day use) enabling secure and easy access.
The large teak decked bathing platform at the stern of this RIB features a deck shower with extendable hose and the option to convert into another sunpad. This also lifts to reveal a ‘garage’ area large enough to store a tender.
The batteries on this Cobra Nautique 9.0 RIB are stored below the aft bathing platform. She is fitted with a port and starboard egine batteries and a 3rd house battery.
The house and port battery were fitted in summer 2016 and are still under warranty.
The RIB is fitted with twin fuel tanks that hold a total 540 litres and these give a range that comfortably exceeds 300 miles so it is great for long range touring. The fuel tanks are split between the engines so that in the event of fuel being contaminated in one tank, you can still bring the RIB home.
This Cobra RIB is fitted with a brand new 7kg anchor controlled by electric windlass. The primary windlass controls are found at the helm station and there are secondary controls in the bow locker so you can operate from either, which really aids anchoring.
