On Sunday in the med. Alain Thebault and Thierry Lombard’s Audemars Piguet sponsored April 2007 built “l’Hydroptere” smashed the 50 knot speed record.

With ten crew on board the record was set over one nautical mile, at an average speed of 50.17 knots.
