Julian Smith of Hamble Marine Surveys has just returned from Cannes in South France after being chosen to survey ‘Bristolian’ a custom 92′ CNB aluminium sloop ex ‘Mari-Cha II’ for a client of Nicolle Associates.

The vessel has recently been re-fitted with many improvements and upgrades including a Southern Spars 5 spreader Carbon Rig and Boom.  The survey by Julian Smith started in Cannes and involved extensive sea trials followed by a detailed inspection and testing of the vessel and her installed systems.  The vessel was also lifted ashore but this could only be achieved in Antibes due to the vessle’s size and weight.

Her new owners intend to use the vessel for private cruising with occasional racing.
