Fairey boat sales booming, enquiries are positive!

With all that is going on in the world right now, it is important for us to focus on some positive news, particularly when it comes to boats and boating. Undoubtedly over the past weeks and months there has been a great deal of uncertainty in the industry and the wider world in general, but it pays to remember: “Wherever there is uncertainty, there is opportunity” and at Nicolle Associates we believe in seizing opportunities and making it possible for our clients to do the same. Here are some good news stories, to prove its not all doom and gloom out here:
- We are monitoring a marked increase in web-traffic on our site because people are working from home. Summer is coming and boating is not under restriction – it might even be the best chance of a holiday this year!
- Genuine buyers are still buying, including purchasing boats through the eyes of a qualified surveyor (some surveyors we know are rushed off their feet at the moment!).
- Several Huntsman 31 and Huntsman 28’s have sold in the last 6 weeks – that’s almost one a week. This week alone Nicolle Associates have Completed the sales of Fairey Huntsman 28 ‘Honey Rush’ and Fairey Huntsman 31 ‘Floating Charge’. Both boats are returning to the River Hamble with their new owners to enjoy the summer season.
- We are seeing a ‘filtering out’ of enquiries, with serious buyers coming forward, these buyers are determined to find a way to purchase this season, and we are perfectly placed to help them. ‘Tyre kickers’ and ‘looking-to-buy-in-5-years-time’ purchasers are busy stocking up on loo roll.
It is true that these are dark times, and we all have to take precautions, but perhaps there just might be a silver lining to this Covid-19 cloud.
