This high specification, skipper maintained, Grand Soleil 56 from the Philippe Briand design office benefits from a carbon 3 spreader mast, carbon “Park Avenue” boom, deep custom carbon rudder and stock plus an extensive sail inventory.
She has been upgraded to offer many sail handling options so that she can be set up correctly for inshore racing as well as shorthanded offshore sailing and is quite manageable with a husband and wife only, however she can also keep 16 people entertained at regattas.
This Grand Soleil 56 machinery includes a Yanmar 98Hp engine (2261 hours September 2015) with Flex-o-fold propeller, 6Kw Generator (220 hours September 2015), Mastervolt inverter and retractable bow thruster.
White Alcantara upholstery with Burmese teak satin interior and teak and holly sole boards give this already spacious Grand Soleil 56 an airy feel below decks where LED lighting maintains the light atmosphere at night.
She has a spacious saloon with C-shaped dining area and bench seat to starboard which benefits from Climma air conditioning; her accommodation comfortably sleeps six in an ensuite master cabin forward plus two ensuite doubles aft, her saloon can also be converted to sleep an additional two if required.
