The Moody 425 is one of Moody’s most popular cruising yachts from the boards of Bill Dixon. This boat was launched in 1990 and can accomodate 8 in comfort in 3 cabins and the saloon. The aft cabin has a centreline double berth with access through the en-suite heads to the saloon and through a cabin with 2 single berths.
The saloon has seating for 8, a full sized navigation table, a full galley and gives access to the forepeak and forward heads.
Inmast furling mainsail and furling headsail were standard and there are two lockers in the transom for the essential boating gear.
These are very comfortable boats with space for long distance cruising and many are used as livaboards. A clean and well cared for example currently berthed in Sicily – a great place to start a tour of the med this summer.
