Called Solent Refit, the site at Hythe Marine Park has deep-water berths, 90m moorings, a lift for yachts up to 70m, and extensive undercover working areas. The facilities are now available for hire.

Although owned by one of the UK’s regional development agencies (SEEDA), the yard will be managed by Yacht Project Associates and CB Richard Ellis.

“It is ideally positioned to attract Europe’s most prestigious large yachts,” says Paul Flatt, SEEDA’s senior development manager. “The availability of this independent facility will help local superyacht contractors by making a quality facility available for hire in the area.”

“I’m sure this facility will prove extremely attractive to large yacht owners,” adds Tim Wiltshire, chairman of Superyacht UK. “With competitive exchange rates, very flexible facilities and access to experienced subcontractors, Solent Refit is a serious contender for any yacht refit project.’

Hythe Marine Park is a nationally-recognised centre of marine excellence and is home to several established companies.

Nicolle Associate’s sister company Performance Yachts welcome this facility on their doorstep saying that it is great to have a facility like this in the Solent for it’s clients who bring their superyachts to the UK. The Performance Yachts 100 “Liara” spent the early part of this summer in the Solent.
