Are you looking to relocate your boat? Our experience has provided us with the breadth of knowledge to understand even the most individual requirements.

Shipping your boat allows you to explore all the sailing areas which you wouldn’t normally have time to reach and at the same time reducing any wear and tear on your boat. Having your boat shipped can get you across oceans in a matter of days.

Haulage can allow you to take the most direct route to where you would like your boat to be. It is often the quickest way of moving boats around.

A crewed delivery allows you to have your boat delivered to the exact location you want, not relying on where trucks or ships have to end up.

We are able to work with you to get the best method of boat transport to suit your budget, time scale and any other requirements.

Here are some examples of boat movements we have managed over the past year.

Westerly Conway 36 – Assisted delivery with owner

A client from Falmouth found his ideal yacht on our brokerage books, having purchased the yacht he needed assistance in returning the boat back to the West Country. The owners had not previously owned a boat and they had little sailing experience. We organised a skipper to join them on the delivery during which the owners were able to achieve their RYA Day Skipper qualifications.

Beneteau 44.7 – Crewed delivery to Sweden

A Swedish client purchased a yacht we had on show at our Hamble Point Marina office. This client needed the boat to be delivered back before the Stockholm archipelago froze over for the winter. We arranged a professional skipper and crew to get deliver it safely and on time.

Fairey Huntsman 28 – Haulage to Nantes

A French client was looking for a classic powerboat to enjoy in Nantes. He fell in love with a Fairey Huntsman 28 lying on the Hamble River.  A problem he faced was he was unqualified to drive a powerboat on French waters, so he was unable to take the boat by sea. We organised the lift and loading onto a truck at Hamble Point Marina which then delivered the boat to its new home port in Nantes.

Amongst other projects, we have also recently arranged shipping from the UK to the Middle East of a Classic Cigarette Powerboat to Dubai and a 36ft and 41ft semi-custom motorboat to Kuwait. To meet Customs requirements we also helped the owners import the ETNZ Volvo Ocean 70 ‘Camper’ to our Hamble Customs Warehouse.
