Rolls Royce Jet Drive Swordsman 40 – Ideal for taking some overdue holiday…

Developed from the Fairey Marine and James Bond stable, this Swordsman 40 is ideal for taking some overdue holiday. She is presented in near showroom condition and is powered by twin Cummins CE 480hp marine diesel engines to twin Rolls Royce water jets.

The Swordsman 40 uses the GRP Fairey Dagger hull design which was originally a military boat also used by customs and police. The sea keeping shape of the immensely strong hull is highly respected for boats of this size giving very comfortable passage making.

She has to be driven to understand why she is so special, the manoeuvring is so precise that she can be moved in any direction and docked anywhere with her joystick control Rolls Royce Vector dynamic positioning system. You can berth her whatever the conditions against a pontoon with the engines running and tie her up single-handed.

With water jets any propeller noise is eliminated as are worries about fishing pot lines and nets. With no propellers her draft is reduced and she can dry out in mud or on sand.

Her aft cabin superstructure designed by Alan Burnard the renowned Fairey Marine designer gives this Swordsman 40 pleasing classical lines. She sleeps six in a large aft ensuite double, a convertible U shaped saloon and a forward V berth with additional day head. She benefits from Mastervolt 6Kw Whisper Gen generator, 2KW Inverter and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout.

Navigation equipment by Simrad and Raymarine includes 2KW radar / chart plotter, GPS, autopilot, DSC VHF, depth and log.
