This Marine Projects Sigma 38 is a fantastically presented and highly fitted out example of the extremely popular Cruiser-Racer design from David Thomas and built by Marine Projects Plymouth ltd in 1988.
This Sigma 38 is powered by a 2005 Volvo Penta 29hp diesel engine with 3 blade folding propeller.
She comes well equipped for both cruising and racing with a North Dacron mainsail; roller furling genoa Dacron DC 2017; North Dacron No 3 genoa; storm jib and cruising spinnaker. As well as race sails including 2012 double taffeta moulded membrane mainsail; lightweight and heavy spinnakers.
The rigging on this Sigma 38 is of equally high spec with double spreader fractional rig in Anodized aluminium with stainless steel standing rigging; hydraulic back stay tensioner and Lewmar self-tailing winches.
She is also kitted out with Raymarine navigation instruments including: 2010 DSC VHF radio, speedometer, depth sounder, 2009 wind/speed, compass, radar, autopilot, 2009 AIS receiver and GPS.
